How to check-in attendees from the check-in app


The Ticket Falcon check-in app allows you to easily manage attendee entry using your phone, tablet, laptop, or stationary computer. You can check in attendees manually by searching their names or scanning their ticket's QR code.

Accessing the Check-In Feature:

  1. Open the Ticket Falcon app on your mobile device and sign in to your account.
  2. Once logged in, navigate to your event.
  3. Tap the "Check-In Attendees" button.

Manual Check-In:

  1. On the "Check-In Attendees" screen, you will see a search bar.
  2. Enter the attendee's name or ticket number in the search bar.
  3. Matching attendees will appear below.
  4. Tap the "Check-In" button next to the correct attendee to manually mark them as checked-in.

QR Code Scanning:

  1. From the "Check-In Attendees" screen, locate and tap the QR code button in the lower right-hand corner of the app.

    Your phone's camera will activate. Point the camera at the QR code on the attendee's ticket (printed or displayed on their phone).

    The app will automatically scan the QR code and display a status message:

    • "Check-In Successful" (Green): The ticket is valid and has not been scanned before. Grant the attendee access to the event.
    • "Ticket Has Already Been Scanned" (Red): This ticket has already been used for entry. Do not grant access unless the attendee can provide a valid, unscanned ticket. This prevents duplicate ticket usage.
    • "Ticket Does Not Exist with Event" (Red): The scanned QR code is not associated with this specific event. Do not grant access and ask the attendee to present the correct ticket.

Managing Check-Out and Re-Entry:

  • Check-Out: When an attendee leaves and you want to allow them to re-enter later, the app may display a "Check-Out Successful" message.
  • Allowing Re-Entry: By default, once an attendee is checked out, they can be checked in again.
  • Preventing Re-Entry (Disabling Check-Out): If you do not want to allow attendees to re-enter after leaving, do not "Un-Check-In" their ticket. Once checked in, their status will remain as checked in.
  • Manually Allowing Re-Entry (Un-Checking In): To manually allow an attendee to re-enter after being checked in, find their entry on the "Check-In Attendees" screen and tap the "Un-Check-In" button next to their name. This will reset their status and allow them to be checked in again.
