How to export/download ticket buyer order data
Understanding your ticket sales and financial transactions is crucial for managing your event effectively. Ticket Falcon provides a simple way to download a comprehensive report of all ticket buyer orders directly from your event dashboard.
Follow these steps to download your ticket buyer order data:
- Access Your Event Dashboard: Log in to your Ticket Falcon account and navigate to the dashboard for the specific event you are managing.
- Find the Order Data: Scroll down to the Order Summary section within the event dashboard.
- Initiate the Export: The Order Summary section contains an Export Orders button. Click this button to begin the download process.
A file containing your order data will be generated and downloaded to your device. This file is typically in a Comma Separated Values (.csv) format, which can be opened with spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or other similar programs.
The exported file includes detailed information for each order, such as:
- Order Identification & Status: Order #, Date the order was placed, and the current Status of the order.
- Payment Information: Payment Type used for the order.
- Ticket Details: Ticket Type(s) included in the order.
- Buyer Information: First Name, Last Name, and Email of the ticket buyer.
- Financial Breakdown:
- Ticket Sales: The total revenue from ticket prices in the order.
- Additional (Fee) Revenue: Revenue from any additional fees collected per ticket or order.
- Gross Sales/Charges: The total amount charged to the buyer.
- TF Service Fees: Ticket Falcon's service fees applied to the order.
- Additional Fees: Any other additional fees configured for the event.
- Processing Fees: Payment processing fees associated with the transaction.
- Taxes: Any taxes collected on the order.
- Net Payout: The net amount you receive after all fees and taxes.
- Payment Gateway Details: Stripe Payment Intent ID and Stripe Charge ID (for orders processed via Stripe).
- Discounts: Coupon Code applied (if any) and the corresponding discount.
- Tracking: Tracking Link Source, if the order originated from a specific tracking link.
This downloaded order data is invaluable for financial reconciliation, sales analysis, tracking payment statuses, and understanding the effectiveness of your promotional efforts.
