Generating printable name badges for your event attendees

The Name Badge Generator lets you create printable name badges for all your attendees in seconds — straight from your Event Dashboard. You can customize which fields appear on each badge, choose a layout that fits standard badge paper, and export for printing or for use with Avery, Canva, or Microsoft Word mail merge.


Opening the Name Badge Generator

  1. Go to My Account → Manage Events and click Event Dashboard for your event.
  2. Click 🏷 Generate Name Badges.

The generator opens and automatically loads all paid attendees for your event.


Step 1 — Choose which ticket types to include

By default, all paid ticket types are pre-selected. Donation, raffle, and add-on ticket types are excluded by default. Use Select All or Deselect All to quickly adjust, or check and uncheck individual ticket types.


Step 2 — Choose the fields to display

The Name Badge Fields & Display Order section lets you select which information appears on each badge:

First Name Core (always included)
Last Name Core
Email Core
Ticket Type Core
Event Name Core
Your survey questions Survey (custom)

Use the ↑ ↓ arrow buttons to reorder fields — the order shown is the order they will be printed on the badge, top to bottom.


Step 3 — Layout & display options

Layout 2×3 (6 per page, standard), 2×4 (8 per page, compact), 1×1 (1 per page, large badge)
Name Font Size Small, Medium, Large
Sort Attendees By Default (order date), First Name A–Z, First Name Z–A, Last Name A–Z, Last Name Z–A
Blank Badges Add extra blank badges (0–100) for walk-ins or spares

Page estimates are based on US Letter paper (8.5 × 11 in) with 0.5 in margins.


Step 4 — Generate, export, or preview

🖨 Generate & Print Opens a print-ready page in a new browser window — press Ctrl+P (or Cmd+P on Mac) to print
📊 Export to Excel / CSV Downloads a CSV file with all selected fields and attendee filters — compatible with Avery, Canva Bulk Create, Staples, Microsoft Word mail merge, and other badge tools
📄 Export for Printing (HTML) Downloads a self-contained HTML file — open it in any browser and use Ctrl+P to print or save as PDF
👁 Preview Shows a preview of the first 6 name badges with your current settings

Frequently Asked Questions

What paper/badge size does the generator support? The generator is designed for US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) paper. The 2×3 layout (6 per page) is compatible with standard Avery 5390 or similar 2×3-inch badge inserts.

Can I include custom survey answers on the badge? Yes — any survey questions you collected from attendees during checkout will appear in the field list under the "Survey" label. Check the ones you want to include.

Can team members access the Name Badge Generator? Yes, team members with the Event Manager role can access the Name Badge Generator from the Event Dashboard.
