Ticket type visibility tool tip

Understanding Ticket Type Visibility

The "Visibility" dropdown on the create/edit tickets page gives you control over when and how ticket buyers can see specific ticket types. Here's what each option means:

  • Visible: This is the default setting. The ticket type will be displayed to all visitors to your event page.
  • Not Visible: The ticket type will be hidden entirely from your event page. This is useful to offer exclusive tickets to a specific group. You can share a direct link to the hidden ticket type with those individuals.
  • Not Visible Once Sold Out: The ticket type will initially be visible but will eventually disappear from your event page once all available tickets have been sold.
  • Visible Once Ticket Sales Start: The ticket type will be hidden until sales start.
  • Not Visible Once Ticket Sales End: The ticket type will be visible until ticket sales end, at which point it will be hidden from your event page.

Additional Tips:

  • Carefully consider which visibility option best suits your ticket types and overall event strategy.
  • Use hidden ticket types strategically to create special offers or early bird discounts for specific audiences.
  • Remember to communicate clearly with your audience about ticket types with limited visibility or special conditions.

Note: Ticket types assigned to a sub-event page will remain visible, even when hidden from your public-facing event page.
