When do I get paid?
Once you’ve made your first charges with Stripe, your first payout will be initiated and should post within seven days. Thereafter, all US-based merchants will receive payouts on a rolling two-day schedule.
You can link your bank account and set the frequency of these payouts in your Stripe Dashboard’s Balance page. From there, you can also view all payouts from Stripe to your bank account. To learn more, visit Stripe’s documentation on Receiving Payouts and Payouts Explained.
First payout delays
Your first payout is typically available 7 days after you add your bank account and take your first successful charge on Stripe. This waiting period can be up to 14 days for businesses in certain industries and up to 30 days in countries like Brazil. To see a full list of payout schedules by country and industry, visit this page.
This delay allows Stripe to mitigate some risks inherent in providing credit services. This initial payout timing requirement cannot be waived. Any changes made to your payout timing or payout method during this time will take effect after this initial delay.
Regular payout schedules
You can confirm your payout schedule and estimated payout timing in your Dashboard.
More information on payout schedules can be found here.
Your estimated payout date can be found in the Balances page of the Dashboard. If you do not receive your funds by this date:
- This might be related to account verification. Please check both your Dashboard or email to see if we requested additional information from you to complete this process.
- This might be related to bank processing time. Banks can add extra days, including weekends and holidays. Once the bank has finished processing your payout, they will deposit the funds into your account automatically
