Duplicating an event
Do you need to create a similar event to one you've already set up? Save time by using our Duplicate Event feature! This handy tool allows you to copy an existing event and make the necessary adjustments quickly.
Here's how it works:
- Go to Manage Events or your Event Dashboard: Find the event you want to duplicate.
- Click "Duplicate Event": You'll find this link on the Manage Events page, Event Dashboard and Events Page.
- Manage Events: Click the actions link and then "Duplicate Event"
- Event Dashboard: Click "Duplicate Event" from the main links menu
- Event Page: Click the actions link and then "Duplicate Event"
- Fill in the Blanks: Ticket Falcon will duplicate almost everything from your original event except for the following, which you'll need to provide:
- Event URL: Choose a unique URL for your new event
- Start Date/Time: Set the date and time when your duplicated event will begin
- End Date/Time: Set the date and time when your duplicated event will end.
- Review and Edit Tickets: All tickets associated with the original event will be duplicated. Before publishing, you can edit any ticket details as needed.
Important Notes:
- Supported Event Types: This feature works seamlessly with general admission, reserved seating, and fundraising events.
- Efficiency Boost: Duplicating an event saves you the effort of recreating all the basic event information, settings, and ticket types.
