How to scale or resize seats
Seats cannot be scaled directly, but a similar goal can be achieved by making other objects smaller or bigger than seats, or adjusting the spacing around them.
Enlarge or shrink seats relative to their section
If your section is disproportionate in relation to it's contents, you can transform it to scale it up or down.
To do this, follow the steps below:
- Open your seating chart from the Manage Seating Charts page
- Select the section you'd like to rescale
- Locate the Transform property located at the right-side panel.
- Click and drag the handle to the right to make it bigger compared to the seats (thus, seats will look smaller in comparison), or to the left for the inverse result.
Increase spacing between seats
Sometimes what you are really looking to do is shrink or enlarge the space between seats. This can also produce the effect of making seats look bigger or smaller.
To do this, follow these steps:
- Open your seating chart from the Manage Seating Charts page
- Select the rows you'd like to adjust
- Locate the Seat Spacing and Row pacing properties (the latter only available when selecting multiple rows).
- Increase the values of these properties to make seats seem smaller or reduce the values to achieve the opposite result.
