When creating a reserved seating chart, you must assign seats to categories (seating types). Categories (seating types) enable event organizers to set pricing to a specific group of seats. When creating tickets for reserved seating events, you will be prompted to select a seating type (category) from a drop-down. This specific drop-down contains all the categories created when the seating chart was made. Only one seating type (category) can be assigned to each ticket type. Once all categories are assigned, you can create regular ticket types (i.e., general admission, donations, etc.).
